The Harrovian Commonwealth
The Harrovian Commonwealth is a group of offshore territories and states under Harrovian dominion or possession. The Commonwealth is the successor of the alleged Harrovian Empire that has its origins in the 9th Century with the colonisation of Wyccia. The Harrovian Commonwealth consists of 2 dominions and 4 colonies. The colonies and dominions have self-government and (apart from Wyccia, whose form of government resembles Harrow's own) responsible government (Cabinet government) out of necessity more than anything, making them essentially more democratic than Harrow itself. Unlike in the Harrowlands the Crown (in the form of colonial Governors and Governors-General) does not govern actively but simply represents the Queen of Harrow, while ministers responsible to colonial Parliaments take charge of the executive government, as in Westminster-style constitutions.
Wyccia
Wyccia is by far the most senior member of the Commonwealth and was originally called in Old Harrowish Hwicce which is still its name in modern Wyccian. It was first settled in 843 by Ælfric of Howe, and came under Harrovian sovereignty in 1075 when the Wyccian Clan Chieftains requested the protection of the island from marauding Vikings in exchange for their recognition of the sovereignty of the Harrovian king. It was constantly attacked by Vikings, mostly from Norreland, from the 800s-1100s and there remain today secluded settlements in northern and eastern Wyccia of Norse origin. Most of the population of Wyccia are descendants of the original Harrovian settlers of medieval times since the 9th Century, as the few freezing centuries following the Medieval Warm Period deterred migration even further northwards than Harrow. Unlike the other Commonwealth Dominions, Wyccia retains the medieval tradition of having the hereditary Earl of Wyccia represent the Sovereign, instead of an appointed Governor-General. The Earl of Wyccia swears fealty to the Sovereign upon ascending to the earldom in one of the last remaining (and practical) vestiges of European feudalism.

Adelaide
Adelaide is an island off the north-eastern coast of the New World, north-east of Nova Harrovia. It was discovered and claimed for the Harrovian Crown in the same Harrovian exploration journey as New Dumnia in 1649, named after Queen Adelaide, wife of King William II. It was an island originally inhabited by the Native Indians, but had been home to Norse colonies established by Njáll Sigurðsson in the early 11th Century that had not had contact with Europe since 1073. They retained a sophisticated European Christian society, although a relatively backwards one, and the Norse colonies governed themselves by means of a proto-federal oligarchic system. Harrow established its sovereignty over the island with a treaty with the Norse inhabitants, who accepted Harrovian sovereignty, law and governance in exchange for Harrow's defending of their communities from Native Indian attacks, a threat the Norse colonial society was constantly under. Harrovian migration ensued soonafter with the first migrants arriving in 1656. Adelaide was originally a Harrovian penal colony; Harrovian convicts were sent to Adelaide by the fleetful to serve their gaol sentence on the island, although many free settlers also migrated to Adelaide to find a life outside Harrow. Its people are mostly of Harrovian ancestry now, although the north of the island is dominated by Norse culture.

New Dumnia
New Dumnia is small colony located on the eastern coast of North America. It was colonised in 1649 along with Victoria in the same year. It boasts a prosperous economy and culture and a deeply religious population, even more so than Harrow itself. The people of New Dumnia are descended mostly from Harrowers, although a significant Celtic culture thrives in New Dumnia, with many descended from Erse-speaking Highlanders, Hiberns and Cumbrians.

Nairn
Nairn is an island colony south of the continent of Australia established by the Harrowlands as a penal colony in 1793, 6 years after the establishment of the Cheltish colony of New Engle on the mainland of the Australian continent in 1788. The Harrovian settlement and colonisation of Nairn was contentious at the time, as the Harrovian expedition to Australia was prompted after the Harrovian government stole maps of the exploration of Australia from the Cheltish Embassy, in which Nairn was originally marked by the Cheltish as "Tasmania" but not claimed. A fleet of settlers from the Harrowlands was sent to claim and settle Nairn in 1793, led by Captain Stewart Macquarie, mostly comprised of transported convicts. This was kept secret from the Cheltish and thus when the Cheltish discovered the Harrovian settlement, they expressed anger. Harrovian forces were forced to defend the colony from attempted Cheltish takeovers in 1795 and 1803. The colony today remains a colonial outpost for the Harrowlands, although convict transportation to Nairn has ceased. Narn has since developed its own thriving economy, culture and society founded on the predominantly Harrovian settler population.
